I put mine out in plain sight. My wife and I are both quilters and share everything ( except for our sewing machines -- we both have our own 6600's)

I have converted my upstairs loft into a quilting room and my husband has turned a wall into a quilting wall for me. Next decision is with both kids off to college, which of their room's do I take over to put all the fabric I seem to be collecting into.

A warm welcome from the UK. I was lucky in a way, about the time I developed an interest in quilting, my son moved out from home, so, right away, before he could change his mind (ha, ha) I had moved all my stuff into his bedroom and, voila, it suddenly became my sewing room. Don't worry about your growing stash either, I think most of us on here experience the same sort of thing, I find myself saying to my husband, "what, that fabric, I've had that for ages"
