Hi, welcome from another Arizonian....you'll have to let us know which part of the Valley you are in as maybe we can use you for long arm quilting.

You will enjoy this board and learn lots.

Welcome from Mohave Valley. AZ. Also named Joanne, also have 5 kids (mine, his ours) tho only the last two sons (21 & 24) are at home temporarily as my DH died suddenly early May. And also learning to longarm - tho I'm trying to not make it so much of a business that I lose having fun w/the process. Have been doing a lot of donation quilts for our quild the last year now w/the occasional customer quilt thrown. Started w/the 9" Brother 1500 on a New Joy Frame & enjoyed it so much graduated to the Tin Lizzie 18 in February. The gals in my guild are chomping at the bit for me to be more ready to do more of their quilting... I go back to f/t teaching Monday so everything quilting will slow down a bit for awhile. One day at a time, then when I get to "retire" again in a couple years, we shall see where I'm at as far as the quilting "business" goes.

This site is great!...

Hi - I live in San Tan Valley, AZ. Email me with your fees for quilting in case we (our quilting group) have something to be done. Currently, we send our quilts to Alabama because they're so reasonably priced.
