Hi, Sara! I live in Tucker. Welcome! If you haven't been to Intown Quilts yet, drive down this way sometime and give them a try. They're my home shop and I love all of the bright colors! :) (If you like Civil War or 1890's repros, this is not the shop for you!)

I'm new at quilting. I found your site and started reading it
every day back in the summer of 2010. I have enjoyed reading
your advise and have learned from all of you. You give all new
quilters the courage to try their best.

So, try I did. Please keep in mind that I have never done any
quilting. I did lots of sewing when I was young, that's been a while. Back in September I decided to make a small family quilt for my aunt (turned 75 in Dec.). I started with 75 pictures (ended with 220). It was lots of work, lots of planning and long hours. My Aunt really loved the quilt as did all her friends. I told her not to start taking orders because I won't be making another one. I plan on starting a "regular" quilt for my granddaugher before long; just need to find the right pattern since she is 15 (going on 21).

I'm attaching a picture of the quilt to share with you. I just
wanted to say "thank you" to the board.

welcome to the board...that is one awesome quilt.....will be cherished forever
