Hi and welcome from Austin although I make quite a few trips to San Antonio from time to time. My DC (Darling Cousin!) is an avid quilter, and retired from teaching at Cornerstone there. She was my inspiration to get back to sewing about 3 years ago which begain with me bringing my old mechanical Pfaff to Gromes there for it sat for 8 years.
I also spend much time in Fredericksburg also. Have taken classes at LQS. |
G'day from Australia

Welcome from central California.
And as for your Nana's quilt, be very sure to put her name on it in BIG letters, front and back. My late DH spent 3 years in a nursing home, and frequently things disappeared and sometimes showed up on other people's wheel chairs or beds. No one commented when I removed them and put them back. |
