I have good friends who live in Mt. Airy. They always say that they are from "Mayberry." It is just beautiful up there!

The quilt is finally off the design wall and in my hand quiliting hoop. Never again. Batiks and points and tiny needles make for painful quilting. I'll post it when it's done. Thanks for the comment

If that is your mountain home, I see why you love it. I'm on 25 acres in the woods but you are in the beautiful mountains. With my machine and stash, I could be snowed in like you and love it.
