Purchasing a new sewing machine question
#21
I bought the Janome Horizon (7700) a year ago and love it. Quilted a baby quilt last night. Worked like a dream. Love the huge open harp on it. And it has wonderful stitches. One thing about Janome, it comes with tons of feet (probably about 10 or 15 and their other feet are fairly inexpensive. I was a Bernina girl for 30 years but I love my new HOrizon.

I thought I'd give Berninas another look. I previously had sewn on the Janome Horizon but was still undecided because of big price difference between the Brother LA and Janome Horizon. On a fluke stop on way to grocery store I thought I'd stop at another Janome dealer just to see prices and he offered the Janome for $1900! Well, I bought and have only had it for the weekend and I am very impressed. I say if you can get the Janome for a good price it's well worth it,
Wow! You got a great deal!!!

I have the Janome 7700 and I love it!! It is a workhorse, well made being housed in a metal body, rather than plastic; has large throat area making FMQ a dream; comes with lots of feet and a extension table; push of a button thread cutting, sews beautifully and easily, offering many, many stitch choices, and so much more. Visit your nearest Janome dealer and try it out…I don’t think that you can go wrong with a Janome! Good luck!
