NO HOPE OF BEING CURED. I GOT RID OF MY FASHION FABRIC ONCE AND I HAVE NEVER STOPPED REMEMBERING THE INSANITY. NEVER AGAIN! MY FABRIC IS THE MOST VALUABLE THING I HAVE RIGHT NOW. I HAVE A STORAGE UNIT THAT IS INSURED......WITH BOLTS AND BOLTS OF FABRIC......

Welcome to the board. I sewed fashion and home dec for about the same amount of time. People used to ask me if I quilted. My reply was always the same, "I choose not to quilt." Why??? Because I knew where it would lead....to another obsession. Then my dear passed neighbor got me into making quilted placemats. She used to call me or e-mail me and say, "I need a Joann fix, want to come?" Her husband and I still laugh about it. Whenever I am quilting I am thinking of her. And when I am choosing fabric for a project I say, "Phyllis, where are you when I need you?"
