Hi, everyone. I have been reading about applique and how to turn your sewing machine one-quarter turn to sew at the head and other very interesting things and thought of a question to ask.
Has anyone used the batting that has sticky on both sides, and you can iron it to the front and back of the quilt to make the sandwich? ? ? I am trying it now on an old quilt that we tore apart and added new accent blocks to the 12 Sunbonnet Sue blocks. I ironed it with the top "up" and the backing down. The top looks wonderful, and then I turned it over and the back had wrinkles here and there. I taped the back to the floor first, but just laid the other on top. How did any one else do it? thanks, Irena
