Hi, I'm Kayrn and new here but have enjoyed reading your ? & answers. My question is: what is the pattern called that you must have a minimum of 1000 different pieces of material? I just made one with yo yo's.

    Hello, and welcome from Idaho!
There are quite a few patterns that call for very small pieces. Postage stamp quilts are one example.

Charm Quilt that was what I was thinking of as I made all these 1044 yo yo's over the last 6 years & putting in a bag.
Now to assemble. Wow, taht is a relief but it keeps my arthritic hands limber. Meanwhile I have finished alot of quilts for people & charity. Joy of my life now & adds love.
