Welcome from SW Arkansas. I'm a wanna be too and I also like pretty fast results; so I'm gonna start with a baby quilt and maybe some table runners and pot holders. Then I'll see how that works out. Jean

Hi and welcome from Northern California! Years ago, I claimed to be a seamstress...which caused me stress! I started quilting and haven't sewn a single garment since. I also like instant gratification, which I get every time I try out a new pattern and finish a single block.

    Good luck and happy quilting.

Waving hello from sunny Florida!! Welcome to the best place for all things quilty and friendly with great eye candy

I'm with you...I like fast so my applique is fusible, I've learned to put bindings on totally with my machine and I bought a longarm so the quilting process is much faster!!!
