I enjoy reading through several of the topics, but since I am new at this, I need some help with the lingo. UFO's? Unfinished...??? WIP's?
BOM? Also, with a sampler quilt, how should one quilt it? Each block with it's own design? By hand? By machine? Thanks for the help.

Welcome from Illinois. It will take you awhile, as it did all of us, to find your way around the board. If you go to the top, click on Search, you can type in about anything including quilt lingo or better yet, "abbreviations" and lots will come up.
