Good Morning, I am new to this site. A dear friend shared this site and here I am. Question...I am making a wall hanging with a beautiful fairy panel from Flower Fairies. I am in need of a quilt motif for the border (not pieced). I am new to hand quilting and since it is not a large piece, I was going to try my hand at quilting the border. Any suggestions for border or even what I should do with the panel besides quilting around some of the shapes? Any help would be appareciated. Thanks so much and have a good day!

I apologize, I didn't see it was a first post.

    Welcome.

Uploading a picture is really easy. When you're writing a message, there is a section for "file attachments" right underneath.
It takes just a few seconds to upload.

Anyway, seeing the quilt top will make it much easier to give relevant suggestions for a border quilting design.

    Welcome, from Ireland.
Could you trace an element from the fabric panel, and stick that to a thin piece of card for a template to quilt on your border?
