Quilting Newbie

Hello everyone. My name is Shannon and I'm a quilting newbie from California. I learned to sew from my mom when I was a young kid but I have never tried quilting... Until this week and I think I am hooked!

I've always admired the quilts made by my relatives and I am so excited to start making my own.

For my first quilt I am working through The Penny Patch Quilt tutorial from Stitched In Color.
