Hello and welcome
Many years ago I went to a quilt shop in Arkansas whilest visiting a friend in Eureka Springs.
I don't rember its name but vividly remember a display of Annie Orr quilts.
I think Barbara told me it had closed.

I'll always love writing too. Expressing feelings and communicating with others is so important. I have learned so much in my years writing for a newspaper. In fact, that is where my quilting inspiration came from. I covered a local quilt show every year and was finally bitten by the bug.

Gee Mary, we are probably close to being neighbors and likely watch the same TV channels. Being in north-central Arkansas, our television originates in Springfield. I probably know more about Missouri politics and weather than what is in my own state...Thanks for the fine welcome.

Thanks for your comment. I have to agree with you. I just love living here. The hills are so welcoming. For my entire life, I've lived on the plains, but eight years ago when we moved here, I feel I've come to where I belong.

It is particularly nice here today. We are looking at 60º--very different from Colorado in the winter, I'm sure. I've only been to Colorado once, but was totally impressed with how beautiful it was. After experiencing Chicago winters my whole life though, I'm happy to be here. Our hills aren't quite as dramatic as your mountains, but I love them all the same...Thanks for the fine welcome.
