Welcome Buzzy..your banner is beautiful!! do you mind if I ask where you got the pattern? One of the gals at our church asked me to help make some banners for our church. I don't think she has patterns because she told me she doesn't sew much. We spent yesterday after church sewing to make a quilt for her to raffle off for Relay for Life to raise money for cancer. We managed to get the top for a queen size one done in about 5 hours. Happy Stitchin' crafty_linda_b

I design the banners from whatever inspires me ...I draw them on a 8x11 piece of paper then put them on an overhead projector to get them to 58" tall...trace them on paper....then on muslum....then on freezer paper for each cut out piece of the pattern...I use another piece of muslin as interlining and then sports weight fabric for backing and put a french binding on the edge to finish off.......I have a book in my shop that got me started...I will send you the name of it later today after i go out there...Where do you live??? I will be glad to help you in any way i can....you can use my design if you want to,,,and I will send you what insired me on that design....It was my first banner...I am now working on another one.....there is more info you need to know about the process of making it...if you want me to continue let me know !!!!!!
