So happy to be here!
I am hoping you can all help me with my new addiction, as my DH calls it...quilting! I have been sewing since a teenager (a VERY long time ago) and have just about burned out my Singer Athena 2000 on sewing clothes and home dec projects. I live in Massachusetts and spend a lot of time in NH, and this winter was just not a very good one for playing in the snow (crazy, I know but I do love the winters here). So, to fill the gap, I stopped by the LQS (a super one by the way) and met the loveliest, patient people who got me started on my first project. That was in January and well, I think you know how it goes from there....new sewing machine, mapping quilt stores, building fabric stash, attending classes, quilt blogs, etc., etc.
So, thanks in advance for your help with my "addiction!" Looking forward to someday actually contributing something useful to these boards!
