I am starting a fabric shop in Oklahoma and will be offering sales online soon.

I was wondering if the quilters on this board think opening a shop is a good idea. WE seem to have a need here.

    Happy sewing everyone!

Best wishes on your endeavor. I know we were desperate until someone started a shop near here six years ago.

If you've done your research, know the TRUE details of owning your own business and the world of retail, and all the rest that goes with having your own company/store... you should do fine. It's not an easy life.
Good luck and let us know the link to your shop if you are offering on line sales.
WE LOVE fabric and the other necessities of quilting.
