Welcome to you from SW Iowa. We are a long way from Norway. I also love to knit and crochet. Sounds like you have overcome many roadblocks on your way to being a quilter. This site is like visiting with friends. hope you love it here.

Sunnyhope, Welcome from Oregon, My Grandfather came over to the US from the Bergen area of Norway. Sounds like you have a lot of crafting skills. Quilting should be something you would be able to enjoy also. Have you done much quilting yet? There are a lot of very nice people on this quilting board. Glad you could join us.

We are so glad to have you join us here, on the Quilting Board!!
My grand mother also came here in 1903, from the Bergen area of Norway. She was an accomplisted seamstress & taught me to sew at a very young age. I am 63 now & I still miss her terribly.
