Just got a Viking Sapphire 835 after years of working on a Babylock. I need help! I want to sew quilt pieces. How do to change the stich type and move the needle to the correct position?

If you google 'Viking Sapphire 835 manual' you can download the manual from there. It will give you all the instructions you need.

I usally all or go by my babylock store, answer and show me whatever I did. Go to who you bought it from.
Maybe put the name of machine on line someone may answer it, or find a store that sells it.
You can send for a manual from the maker.
    Good luck !

I shut off one of the stitch width safety setting. By doing that I was able to change the needle position. This machine has a learning curve I am not used to.
