Hi and welcome from the sunny state of Florida!!
I live close(within 12-14 mi.) to four Wal-Mart's and only 1 of them still has fabric.

My local Walmart has also removed their bolts of fabric for pre-cut fabric.

I was in the next city (20 miles) and purchased fabric at their Walmart. I commented that ours had changed over and she said "Management said that due to Walmart being a discounted type store, that they couldn't get the fabric makers to cut their prices, and they were having trouble offering fabric at a low cost" She said they were going to remove their bolts too but didn't know when.

Bummers! It's hard to pay 7 or 8 dollars for fabric.

Welcome from Pensacola, FL. We have 5 Wal Marts, and 2 of them are continuing to carry fabric; some of it is really nice! Be kind and consistent in encouraging them to carry it. I believe they are listening!
