Wanting to learn in TX
#34
Welcome from Azle, TX(approx 20 miles nw of ft worth)
You're posting made me smile, because I'm the opposite of you. I learned to quilt first, then started making burp cloths, bibs, and receiving blankets to sell on etsy. My daughter has asked me to make some cute outfits for her toddler, but I don't know how to make clothes. A lady in our church told me recently, "If you can quilt, you can sew clothes." Anyway, there's classes and other helpful resources all over the Metroplex. AND this board has helped me ALOT!!
If you are moving somewhere that a Quilt Guild might be close, the ladies there are always very helpful.
