    what to do with unusable scraps

    where I live the city mission sends scraps to recycle (gets ground up for insulation), they can use the money to care for the needy. Maybe there is a place in your city. Check it out. Believe me, I use my fabric right down to the end threads, but sometimes there is a stain or flaw or just too small.

    Great idea! Quality Sewing & Vac was collecting batting scraps to make sanitary pads for 3rd world countries.
