I have been reading this forum since August 2010. When I saw the topic "wedding gowns" I had to introduce myself and tell you my story. My daughter had been married 8 years and wanted to have a baby. There were issues and she and her husband qualified for a study in invetro. While taking the drugs she became pregnant but miscarried. They were allowed to start again and she became pregnant with twins. Unfortunatly they were born at 25 weeks. They both weighed 1#7oz and were 11 and 1/4" long. Olivia lived 19 days. The hospital offered clothing for the burial and the dress was made out of a wedding gown that some angel of God had made and donated just for that purpose. The good news is that Victoria is going to be 4 on March 8th and is healthy and smart (already learning to read) doesn't need glasses and is the sweetest thing. So ladies I just had to let you know if you need something to make out of your old wedding gowns, this is idea would bless some hearts.

Wonderful idea. And such a blessing in a horrific situation.
