Helen: Congrats. Love the way the colors pop with the blue. I'm only about half way on a king size but still have a couple days to finish.

Looking good Helen, I just started cutting today. Hope to get a few together. I only cut enough for 50 blocks, will make sure it works before cutting more. Just in case, I don't want to waste all my fabric.

Did I miss something? How did you know there would be 50 blocks?

I'm guessing quiltsrfun is refering to units maybe?

After 40 years of quilting and 10 years of using down my stash I don't have enough of anything but red or green to do scrappy so for the first time I'm using just 5 fabrics. I wasn't sure how this teal would work but think it came out terrific.

Quite a bit of mine is gone so I'm guessing we won't be using (Bonnie's Blue) much more of that fabric.

I'm with Emma, cut some, sew some, iron some, square some up. I sew a few each evening after work, supper, dishes etc are done. So will see how many I have done by next Friday's new clue. I think I have about 30 done of each. That should be enough to use however they are in the next steps.

I finished mine today, but still have to trim off the little extra tips. I'm using raspberry instead of orange and they look adorable! I love seeing all the different color ideas, such creativity!

Looking good Kalamaquilts. I see you have that other quilting necessity on your table - chocolate.

I have a long way to go to complete Clue 1. Here are my first Tri-rec blocks to show the purple-brown (instead of blues) fabrics with the neutrals and oranges.
