Because, clearly, I don't have enough projects on going - I'm in, sort of. But mostly entirely different colors, got the blue, got the pale neutral, got some scraps of very bright orange but that's it. No white, no cream, no green and most certainly NO YELLOW! Heck, the orange may get thrown out of the heap also. I've got my first round cut for the small size, and I'm just dragging the ziplocs around with me and hand sewing when I have a break. Which is actually going faster than I figured it would.

I could so use a king sized quilt, maybe I should hurry up and cut more?

great yellows, they always make a quilt 'pop'! in the very best of ways.

Part of the fun of a mystery is watching all the different colors emerge. Caroline, such pretty colors! Kalama, I used twelve different blues, plus scraps so I had no idea how much I had used. Since I am going scrappy it will be almost impossible for me to determine when we have used most of a color. If you would continue posting when a color is mostly used up I would love the additional clue. Kalama, especially like your colors, the colors are beautiful but in addition the design in the fabric seem to compliment each other.

I got the first clue finished yesterday. I'm using only one neutral, a tone on tone white. I got it before I even started quilting and it was just too wrinkly for clothing. So today I straighten my sewing room, do laundry and just generally get ready for the next clue and the bad weather that is coming. Stay warm and safe everyone.

Love that teal fabric! and I am impressed you have used up your stash! LOL
That won't happen for me for quite a while. It's so hard to resist when I go into the LQS some of the great newer fabrics and trends...and I am a fan of the Fabric Shacks online clearance pages...ah well.
Did watch Bonnie last night on her quilt cam and trimmed dog ears and measured up what I had done before and found that as I made the units I got much more accurate! LOL I decided I need to cut and make a few extras so that if I run upon one that is really "off" I can sub it out and toss the wrong one into my Crumb Quilts bag for the future.
Anyone here do a Leader/Ender project as you sew?

Definitely! Right now, I'm on a kick with HST's. I'm also working on a selvage project so sometimes I run them through too.

For my BH mystery, I'm doing a small of a small version. Will see how it develops along the way and can build it if needed.

Thanks Helen. That is what I love about paper piecing. Clue 2 is up this morning. Heck, I have not even finished with Clue 1. Bonnie's picture of the tile floor is spectacular. I can see why she was inspired by it.

I replaced Bonnie's blue with crimson and her orange with turquoise.

Can't wait to start step 2 after work! My other colors are deep violet and lime.
