Do you see my HUGE mistake? I used my " yellow" where it should ave been orange in step 1. Guess this calls for a do over. And probably another trip to the fabric store. Oh well, maybe the mistakes can be the beginning of quilt #2.

Score, HST! Easy peasy! I make them with big squares of fabric, 8 at a time. I just make a stack of about 12, then cut them apart. Or more correctly, with my cheerful assistant, I draw the cut lines carefully, and he very very carefully cuts on the lines with scissors. My rotary cutter might be tidier, but my assistant is only 8 and I don't trust me with the rotary cutter quite yet. Plus, I make them a good deal larger, and trim the 1/4-1/2" off the edges to have a true square block.

Sheri oh your colors look so vibrant! I am such a wussy quilter LOL mostly use safe colors

QuiltsRfun- I just noticed you are here in Utah too...I am in American Fork are you near by?

I haven't peeked yet at the clues but wanted to get my mail done first and then I have to do a binding on a Christmas quilt that I need to mail ASAP to NY from Utah and make a pillowcase for the same box, so I have to just look for a bit and not start printing my Inklingo shapes (

I'm in Salt Lake in the depressing inversion. But I'll be heading south this weekend so I might see some blue sky and sunshine.

Good morning, I got a late start, my LQS was out of the TriRecs rulers so I started weeks 1 & 2 at the same time. #1 is done and I am about 25% done with the sewing for #2.
This is my first mystery quilt. I am having so much fun!
I went with Bonnie's colors. I will post pictures later. Got to go read the new clue!!

Yes, I think I'll wait till the end to see how it will turn out. Thank goodness I was doing the small size and decided to do only half of those units so I could keep up with the clues. But I am running out of yellow.
