Default Another block in the works

I started step 5 - I'm really surprized at myself for moving on to the next steps before completing the previous one - I had to give myself permission to do as Bonnie said. Previously I'd not start another step until I was done with the 1-2-3 etc....

Tellabella...thanks for your comment about the number of blocks for clue 4. I was 20 short too! Almost done with that, finished piecing clue 5 but have a lot of pressing and trimming to do. I'm convinced that it's the width of the line on my ruler that gives me the extra thread width on ocassion.

Yeah...I too ended up short on my HST but that was because I had run out of ink on my printer and didn't get them done for that clue and just let it slide out of my mind LOL

I am hoping that she will be putting in some unpieced squares or triangles to complete the design but I think there is probably one more unit we are going to add...but you never know

All the work and color combinations are great to look at. I just am back home and did not get any piecing done while I was visiting family. I have about 1/3 of the chevrons done last night. So I think this week I will try to make a dent into steps 3 and 4. Step 5 will have to wait until this weekend I think. Have to starch some more fabric before cutting tonight.

Just loving everyone's fabric and blocks! I just finished sewing my last 4 patch. Just need to press and trim and then I'll continue on with clue 5. Clue 5 = 20 done!

I think if I piece my blue scraps back together I might have a fat 1/8th left

I've been doing 20 blocks (#5) a day to spread out the fun. If I have a set of 4 laid out by the machine they take 10-11 minutes to finish all 4.
I didn't do linky this week, I'm staying away from people guessing at what the blocks will be.

All the color combos above are Tony The Tiger GREAT!

    See you all next year!

i thought I was doing so well on step 2 with cutting and making 144 for the left side and 144 for the right. Then BEHOLD I am needed additional 144. How did my brain calculate 488 to being 144?
The Small size quilt looking very tempting, right now.
