I usually don't care to do mystery quilts, most of the time I don't find them very attractive when they're done. But Bonnie does so well with hers! I might have to play along on this one!

Sharyn, are you going to make one from your stash? And hopefully post progress pictures on your blog???

My favorite mystery quilt of her's has been Double Delight. I save all her mystery patterns even if I don't make them at the time.

Yes, I have a quiltville mystery blog just for the linkys

Right now it just shows past years mysterys

I've been making quilts strictly from stash since 2001. Makes me a lot more creative!
I never had an enormous stash to begin with and I've been making quilts (pieced both sides) and don't seem to have made much of a dent. Must be though as for past mysteries I've used orange/green/yellow/blue so those won't be an option this year. I like those colors together though so I expect those following Bonnie's color guide will be happy with their results.

This year I'm caring for my mother full time (88 with late stage dementia) so doing the mystery and enjoying her company at the same time makes me a happy camper.

Sharyn I am with you using stash, but her colors are great but orange is not that plentiful. So considering yellow, red, green, blue. Also will be going with a beige neutral as my whites are depleted from the last 2. Would of loved purple but not one I have enough of. Was considering Civil War but short there also so still contempating choices.

I am going to do the smaller size as I already have 2 king size quilts for my bed and another in process. I have completed meaning quilted and bound Easy Street my first BH quilt, completed Lazy Sunday. In process Tulip Fields have all the paper piecing done on that one. Can't wait to see others color choice selections.

My mom and I are both participating again this year. Last year was our first time making a mystery quilt and we loved it and our Easy Street quilts. Mom will be using all of Bonnie's colors, but I am going to substitute the orange with pinkish, raspberry type reds. These are my fabrics so far.
