    Thumbs up 3D Flying Geese w/curved edges with one seam!

    I love making these blocks. Now I can make them any size WITHOUT doing the math!

    First link shows the method. Second page shows how to make the curve edges.

    Tip...sew the raw edges together before sewing to additional blocks. (Don't ask me how I found this out.)

    I have watched Ricky Timms use this method. What I find priceless is the chart, thanks so much for posting this info. The cutting chart is invaluable information. I made one block doing this, it is basically no waste.

    It's also called the 5 min. block. You can do the same thing with 10 in. squares. Sew 4 together and you have a faux cathedral window. Really cool and several tutes on youtube.

    Just recd the 10 minute block and am waiting for the 5 minute one......did a sample of 10 minute one...it was easy and fun....liked doing something a bit different....
