Default 505 Basting Spray on sale again at Joanns.

505 Basting Spray is on sale again online at Joann's for $5.99 for the 8.5 oz. can. Better than the deal for the larger can! Go figure. This last time it was on sale, Joanns ran out of both sizes before I could order. When they had it back in it was regular price. Woo hoo! On sale again!

Finally got my order to go through. Kept getting server errors. I guess they are exceptionally busy tonight. Rare to get free shipping with no minimum. Took me about 90 minutes to get the order to go through.

Know what you mean. Last night, Joann's site crashed while I was trying to order my 505 spray. We waited and waited for it to come back up. It took a while, but my 505 is on its way. I was so happy about "no minimum" purchase! So glad you got yours!

They also had a 14" x 14" rotating cutting board for $13 and change. Got one of those too!

I have never used the 505 spray. Is it temporary? Has anyone used it for machine emb fabric placement? Joanns has raised their 1100 spray to 16.00. I need to find a replacement.

By most reviews and opinions on this board, 505 is the best temporary spray out there. Patsy Thompson has an excellent video on how to use the spray. She uses a wall to baste her quilts. She answers lots of questions that come up concerning the basting, including how long the basting lasts. Good luck!
