I would like to make these, but, I don't have a serger and don't have room for one. I may try with just my sewing machine. I think if I sewed the seam allowance down between the edge and the seam it would keep the seam from being too thick. Now all I have to do is remember I want to try it.

I don't have a serger either. I just did mine on my little Featherweight & it worked out just fine.
