Default 75th Anniversay Sale at Joann's

JA is having a huge coupon sale for their 75th anniversary. Worth a look.

20 yards of Soft and Toasty Batting (by Fairfield) for about 75% off

I never heard of wrap and zap?
Also never realized JAF started in Cleveland.

Wrap and Zap is the type of cotton batting you use in the microwave for bowl potholders and such.

I had never used Soft and Toasty before either. Apparently it is a new batting, when I looked up on a quilting blogger site, she tried it out and compared it to Warm and Natural and showed pictures of the two battings quilted and washed. She said that it quilted well and although it shrunk just a little more than W&N, she thought that it was a good brand and would use it again. With her recommendation and at the price they were selling it for, I was willing to take a chance.

when there's that many coupons you can bet that everything in the store is on sale so you can't use the coupons

LOL, so very true! And frustrating. Although every once in a while you get those coupons that say some % off your entire order of regular and sale prices. However, they don't come out often enough.

Not only that, but they don't give the military discount on anything but full price items... of which I buy about nil. Is that a nice way to honor our vets?

There's always some "catch". They've got that down to a science.
