I really needed a new pin cushion to keep my glass piecing pins in. I've got one for regular pins and one for safety pins...I had so much fun searching for pin cushion patterns on this site.
I decided on this one. My hole isn't as pretty as in the example, but not bad for a first attempt. Now my pins are happy!
I didn't have any felt, but I did have left over Christmas fabric for the back

And a turqoise with some dorito shapes on it and a pretty button to match for the front. The petals aren't really even, but I like how it turned out.
