But then we have to buy most of the dies that go with this new toy don't we? Does anyone have this, and if so, is it worth the $$ after you get all the accessories?

A friend has the Sizzix and likes that. I may just have to keep on buying rotary blades by the dozen. :)

This is not a toy. All die cutting machines or a blessing for anyone with limited fabric hand cutting ability and a useful tool for those that want accurate cuts without the hassle and time consumption of rotary cutting. If price is an issue then don't poo poo it for others for that reason.

So true..it is not a toy at all. Go to some of the rooms that have Accuquilt for a subject. Most people really like it. It is amazing the time you can save by using it. Yes..You do have to buy the dies you like.. It comes with a couple. All you have to do is watch for sales, they are out there all the time. Go to youtube and look for the accuquilt go and see all that can be done with them. I think it is well worth it. That is a great sale. Best I have seen yet. I bought mine about a year ago and and spent more and still very happy that I have it. Keep your eyes out for sales and on ebay and amazon. I bought all my stuff through fabrichut. I believe that was the name on ebay. I wrote directly to them and said they would get my order if they cut me a good deal. They outbid everyone else and gave the mats for free..

I have the Accuquilt GO cutter, and the first quilt I made with using the cutter was super easy because everything matches up. I wouldn't part with my cutter for anything. I watch sales and use my coupons for the dies.
