    Just found this tutorial for making HST's. I have not seen this method before.

    That's interesting! I could see that helping when making a number of HST of the same colorway.

    Default Bias edges?

    Looks like a great way to make many HSTs the same colors as each other. But do they not have bias edges when you do this? Guess you could sew bias strips together in the first place and get the same result, but edges would be on straight of grain.

    this is a Sharon Schamber technique. this youtube video shows it extremely well. two parts.

    no bias edges except the usual ones.
