I found a site with tons of free paper pieced Harry Potter designs...my daughter is a huge fan...I would like to make her a quilt but don't know enough about the series...can you all look at this site and tell me what blocks you would want in a quilt if you were getting a Harry Potter quilt? Thank you all...Donna

Great patterns. I've read and enjoyed all the books.
    I 'd start with these:
    1. Hedwig
    2. Harry's Glasses
    3. Hagrid's hut
    4. The Sorting Hat
I liked the HP and Snitch one as well.

The 4 House Crests are kinda neat.

Harry's Glasses, Hedwig, Fawkes, Golden Snitch, HP & Snitch, Sorting Hat, Sword of Gryffindor, Whomping Willow, Hagrids Hut Gryffindor Crest, Broomstick , Quidditch Hoops, thats 12 of them that pertain to harry himself. Good luck looks like a lot of work.

Thanks...and thanks for the suggestions...I appreciate the help! As far as it being a lot of work..I plan on enlarging the blocks to at least 6"...maybe even 8"....I think if I plan on a 8" block every 2 or 3 nights, then I can get this done...!!! Thanks...Donna

thank you for the link. I have all of the books and have seen all of the movies. my friend and I are in our late 50's but we just love Harry. Gotta make me a Harry Potter wall hanging. (love that the patterns are paper pieced as this is my new quilting obsession).

yes I went thru ALL of the links. spent the last half hour there printing patterns. I have 25 different blocks (including several from the guest designers) if you can, include the Hogwarts robe, and the cupboard under the stairs (from the guest designers). Thank you again for the link. too cool.
