I was responsible for cutting the fabric for these for our LQS. The patterns are easy to follow. Some of the pieces are a bit small and it may be easier for some to embroider those (strawberries on Bichon, etc.) Have fun with them; Stalker (celery) is my favorite.

Helene Knott, who designed the Garden Patch Cats and many other unique designs, is a lovely person with an outstanding creative streak. We had the pleasure of meeting and talking with her earlier this spring, and Cindy took a couple of classes with her. What a great designer! Some of her earlier applique' designs, like Serene Fujiyama are really wonderful as well.
In case you didn't know, she has just come out with the thirteenth block in the Garden Patch Cats series, called Broc-Kitty, and it's just as cute as all the others. Bonus on these patterns is that Helene includes a related recipe in each of the patterns. How cool is that! :-D

You "have to" check these out. They "are" the cutest thing I've seen. Each cat is made to look like vegetable but soooooooo adorable.
