Barn Quilts
#16
We have our summer camping trip set for Southern Wisconsin and I have been looking for places to visit... I know DH would make a day trip to find as many of these barn quilts as possible.... he loves a competition even if it is with himself!
Thanks for the info!

There is a self guided barn tour in Bradford County PA starting 5/1/10. Had I known about it, I would have gone this week end.
The article I saw said the barn quilts are 8" x 8' .
I'm thinking I need one for our pole barn and pavilion. wonder if hubby will let me do it????

North Carolina has some of these...Quilt Trails is the newsletter. Don't recall the name of the project, but they have a website. I saw it the first time 2 years ago, and they now have over 100 quilt blocks on buildings in the area. It is in the mountains in Western NC.
Edit - Here's the link: http://www.quilttrailswnc.org/ My daughter lives in Spruce Pine, NC, and we took a day trip to see the quilt blocks. We got about 20 or so pictures of them.
