I found a quilt pattern and material that I wanted to use for baby quilt for grandson due in January. The fabric is ABC - 123 by Henry Glass and since it is an older fabric I googled to search for it. I had to order from a few shops to get what I needed. One of the shops is Stitched In Stone (www.stitchedinstone.net), they had most of the fabric that I needed for the quilt. This afternoon, Tammy called me to let me know that one of the fabrics was short of the yardage that I needed, she explained that they were short 2" and would send what they had and not charge me for the fabric and then she said that they added a little extra to one of the other fabrics in the order. WOW - that is customer service and I will definitely be using them again.

That is good to hear....they are conscientious enough to call about being 2" short. Most places might have just put in a note or not bothered. Glad you found out about it beforehand when they called you about it.

I'm expecting a new grandson in late May or early June of next year so I checked out the site. Found some fabric that I really liked for a baby quilt, but will wait to order until they are sure it's going to be a boy. Thank you for posting the site.

The fat quarter shop (also on line, just add a dot com) did this for me once. I was very pleased she was that caring to call. Somehow she was completely out of a sky blue fabric I had ordered during a big sale weekend. I asked her to pick out something that would be close and send it instead. She did and I was very happy with it.

I go to stitched in stone all the time it is my home shop. Whether I am taking classes, buying fabric or quilting supplies Tammy is always helpful and wonderful to us all. I was so happy to find your article and I showed it to Tammy that day,
