Got to see this jaw-dropping quilt Saturday at the show ... truly amazing and so deserving of the big win ! When we passed by again later, she was there and we got to hear her talk about it. She machine quilted this completely on her domestic Bernina. No longarm, no custom quilter doing it for her. She made the quilt, start to finish in 10 months !! With 3 small kids at home too ! She quilts most nights after they go to bed. To have the energy and mindset at the END of a busy Mom's day to do such fantastic work ... !
