    Wow. Thank you for this. One question to all of you who have made one of these..... would it be possible to make this out of upholstery fabric? I have a couple gorgeous pieces and would like to make a bag out of them. Thanks for any input.

    It's legal to post online how to make a pattern but you can't post any part of the original pattern. Which seems dumb, how do it is all you need. LOL. I haven't failed yet to find any quilt or project pattern free online from bits and pieces of the pattern, enough to make the pattern, scattered all over blogs, quilt shops, quilt magazine websites and message boards.

    Yes, that is what I used,I have a couple of things I would do differently, if you use upholstery fabric. Be really careful with the handles. The pattern says two layers of pellon, for the body, I would only use one with the heavier fabrics.
