    I believe it just means you have to bid at least 300.00 - I am looking for a serger and saw that...thought someone may be interested.

    When an ebay posting says "reserve not met", it means the seller has determined the least amt he will take (that amt is hidden) and he does not have to sell the item until it reaches the price that is least he will take.

    It goes for 500.00 brand new...its already at 380.00 and states reserve not met. How much does she expect for a used machine...geesh...

    There is a picture up in the left hand corner of the e-bay site stating one on buy it now for $499.00. I don't know what they go for new.

    That is similar to mine, Looks just like it, but mine is a 650Q. New it was $1,000 on sale! Anything lower would be a great deal. I love mine!
