Default Calling all Civil War fabric fans!

I don't know if you've ever gotten your Civil War fabrics from Whittles, but if not, please consider them (no, I'm not affiliated with them except that I spend way too much of DH's paycheck there... LOL!). They have a really great selection & great prices ($5-$7 a yard, which I think is pretty darn good for designer lines). They also have these really awesome grab bags of Civil War fabrics. 10 FQ's of a certain color for $12! I've ordered them numerous times (like the 2 bags of shirtings I ordered about 3 minutes ago... LOL!) & they really are nice (the fabrics & the folks at the store). Anyway, I just wanted to tell you about this place because I personally think they rock!

I just discovered Whittles, thanks to an online swap friend, and ordered some Civil war "tribute" line and 2 grab bags. I don't have them yet but I thought the choices were great for the money. Easy checkout too! Since learning of them I now have read that their bricks and mortar store in KY is well worth a visit.

I LOVE Whittle's and am lucky enough to be only 60 miles away. If you are close enough to drive there, the fabric is even less expensive at the shop. They have a nice selection of all kinds of fabrics!

Here's the link for the shirtings grab bag. The yardage of shirtings (does that sound right to you? It sounds gawky to me) are under the various collections. If you want shirtings yardage, type "shirtings" into the search function & it will pull up several. Shirtings are getting harder to come by, don't you think???
