    Beautiful design, will take some time but should be fun to see it come together. The different border components are not as challenging as the compass elements and that contrast makes for a wonderful end product. Looking forward to seeing the the finished quilt. The colors are wonderful and the center medallion is dazzling.

    I love it. Are you doing a blue flange border with the 1"(lookin) ywllow interior border?? that would be a nice touch. I couldn't tell if it was an extra bit of blue on purpose or not...either way i love it and wish i had EQ

    Melissa,
    that little extra of blue was because I used a tiled block on the last border, I'll add that to the yellow. So the inner yellow border will be 1.25 inch rather than 1 inch. I love borders but not really up to adding a .25 inch bit of blue!!
