Christmas Chrunch

I was planning to make 4 more bow tucks for neices but with the holiday fast approaching, I have cut that down to 4 covered journals. Since I posted my journal cover directions, I have found many patterns on the internet on how to! The easiest one I have seen with very good directions is at the following:
http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2009/08/how to: sew a simple fabric book cover. The only thing I will add is a light weight batting. Have a look. I think you will agree. Fast, easy, and you embellish it anyway you want. My favorite way is to fussy cut flowers, etc., and iron on.

Very cute. I think the link is broken, so maybe this one will work: http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/20...abric_boo.html
My 4 yr old son has a stash already and a couple Sundays ago he brought a fat quarter to church and gave it to our pastor's wife. So funny- she doesn't even have a sewing machine. Anyway, she wants to come over and make a Bible cover with it so he can see that she used the fabric. I will bookmark this one- looks easy.
