    i have (carefully) used the pick that came with my accu quilt go to clean under some of the keys. (13 yo eats sunflowers seeds and totally trashed the keyboard).

    my sister and i picked up an old kenmore at the fleamarket last weekend for her granddaughter. we were fooling with it trying to get it to sew and finally cleaned it. the problem was it was not threaded correctly. finally found the diagram and it threads totally backward to anything i've ever seen before. sews beautifully now and was only 15$. how lucky
