    oooh must place order....!!!

I'm looking at it now and found some delicious fabrics too!! I want to try one of the 4patch posies quilts and have been searching for some nice large print fabrics... I found one!!!!!! In the Jacobean line of fabrics!! MUST HAVE!!!

thanks for the post!! I was just thinking the other day that I needed to add a few more spools to my thread pile. I'm getting low on my basics.

I was wondering if some of you could help me out with a colour choice.

I want to make the 4 patch posies quilt as discussed in the link below.

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/5991.page

I am ordering the cream focal print (#1522) in the Jacobean family line from the connecting threads site. I would like another colour in the swirls fabrics, but not sure which one to use. I was hoping if some of you had a chance to take a peek if you could help me with a colour choice. Please take a peek at the link below

I look forward to your suggestions!

Aggi, I looked at and love the Jacobean collection! I'll probably order some later today. I've used them before and got really quick shipping and great product. I like the 1522 also...(great minds and all that :D ). For me, I'd like the 1545 swirls to go with that one. I haven't looked at their fabrics in the other section of the site, they may have even more colors available in the swirl. Of course, it will depend on what you are planning to do with it, but thats my pick. Have fun! Don't you wish that "squishy" package could come today?

I love squishy packages in the mail. I'm expecting one from Thousands of Bolts sometime next week. It was sent out on Monday to me.. wooopieee cant' WAIT!!!

Thanks for the suggestion! I want to do the four patch with the print fabric and then perhaps do a little log cabin or courthouse steps strips around it. The other option was a three strip sashing.. using only two colours. so one of one colour and two of the other colour.....

Beautiful fabrics, 1545 would be my first choice but 1540 would look nice too :D

wow... I put both 1540 and 1545 next to the focal fabric in the design wall and I liked what I saw!! I think I will order 2 yards of those two fabrics and 3 1/2 yards of the focal!!!

Thanks sooo much for your help!!!
