I'm waiting to download until they hopefully come up with a better way than downloading 3rd party software and then individually downloading each segment of each class. That would take me hours! Also you have to either buy the download software or sign up for a trial version. I prefer not to do download software I know nothing about, from a company that wants me to eventually pay for it.

I’m with Dunster on this. Plus, I have a Mac, so hopefully they will put up instructions that pertain to Macs.
Also, these things take up a lot of room. I can’t imagine there is room on my machine to download all of my classes.
It seems strange that they’ve got it set up where you can only download a class one segment at a time. That will take me forever, given that I began buying Craftsy courses shortly after they began offering them in 2010. Some of the early courses are quite long And offer great in depth instruction, not like what they went to after being sold to NBC.
I may need to invest in an external hard drive to accommodate mine.

Rob, that's what I would do too. It takes up a ton of space on my laptop, or it would I should say. I've had no luck. I downloaded each segment but they won't play. And I don't want to use up all that room.

I’ve just spent a hour downloading 2 classes along with all PDFs for the classes, as they say you have to download each segment of the class individually. You’ll also want to rename them according to what will be easy for you to identify and find, what a task! I have 110 classes I certainly hope that they have a better solution that making the customer spend hours trying to save their already purchased products. However, given the current climate I’m not so sure that I have a ton of faith that they will provide us with a copy of our products, there is no profit in them doing so, and class action suits only benefit the attorneys, not the consumer. I for one will make the effort to download my classes and then transfer them to a separate external hard drive and flash drive and perhaps back that to the cloud.

Thru my life of 75 years, I have learned that a "Lifetime Guarantee" doesn't mean much. Companies come and go so that would only be the lifetime of the company or whomever manufactured the product, etc., etc.
Always buyer beware.

Today is the last day for orders for both merchandise and classes. I’m sure they felt that there were those that may want to purchase a class and then download it, and I’m sure, many like myself who still may have free “forever” classes to pick since at this point it would be use it or lose it. I know I myself scrambled to pick 12 classes to add to my forever library to own and download. Certainly not my top picks but at the end of the day better than not using them at all.
I’ve downloaded 13 classes and will just spend the next several days downloading 12 at a time till I’m all done. Once you get into a process it goes quicker, but is still tedious. A hint, when your done downloading, archive the class so you know it’s done and you don’t waste your time downloading it again!

I'm with you. I scrambled and picked my 12 classes, almost none of them in quilting! I've been doing watercolor more lately, so found some good ones there. I miss the old Craftsy with its deep dives. My local library provides free subscriptions to CreativeBug. Maybe CreativeBug will fill the hole. I've found some interesting things there, mostly in the crafting category rather than quilting.
