Default cutting mats on sale at Wawak

year end sale 90% off - lots of stuff on sale.
    I especially noticed bag hardware
    and
cutting mats are $15.85 for 18"x24" and $24.95 for 24"x36" size

I don't work there, but I like the store and have had really good customer service there.

I buy a lot of items from Wawak. I bought most all the feet to fit my Juki there. I like the poly Maya 150 thread. Tex 20 is 50 wt.Gutterman cotton for comparison. . Tex is confusing to compare to weight numbers. Wakwak use to sell Auriful and listed it as tex 7. I bought a lot of different types of thread by tex number to find the the good piecing one I liked.

Okay. I"m interested in that. What do you use a needle with 2 eyes for?

you can run two threads at once for decorative effect-for example when top stitching-

2 different colors (or the same color in both for a thicker thread look) ...use 2 thread spool posts or stands (on or off your machine-many machines have multiple spool posts available), thread each spool through your machine one at a time, and use the top eye for one, the lower eye for the other.
you can get some nice results doing this. you can also do it with a single eye, but you just don't get quite as even a distribution of color because one eye twists the threads a bit.
    kinda fun...

found some videos of this on YT

oh... you could actually use a spool of thread and a bobbin together on 1 post if that's necessary

Thanks for the new idea! I ordered some of the two eye needles.
Double eye is how they are listed.

Thanks! I've used a large size needle and run 2 threads thru that but this would be easier.
