This is an etsy shop that a regular member here has. She makes really really cute baby items. I love the bib wtih the Crab on it. She doesn't know I am posting this - but I just thought I would send a posting out for anyone looking for darling, one of a kind, baby items for shower gifts or just anything. Really original, cute, fresh, and would be loved by the young mothers of the world.

The chenille she uses is the good stuff....the antique chenille...

I absolutely ***love*** vintage chenille. It is so soft and the perfect textile for bibs because it absorbs so well. There are so many different colors, textures, patterns - the combinations are endless. I occasionally make patchwork vintage chenille quilts - talk about a mess while making. It looks like it has snowed in my house and all over me but oh... they are scrumptious when finished, so shabby chic. They are like a big old hug when covering up with one.
